Our Story

From IT consultancy to independent infrastructure.

Unitas Global Ltd started life in 2020 as S&S UK Solutions — an IT consultancy serving UK businesses. Over years of fixing other people's hosting disasters, the same patterns kept appearing. Shared servers oversold to breaking point. Renewal prices doubling without warning. Support tickets answered with copy-paste scripts. Migration walls designed to lock customers in.

By 2026 it was clear: the businesses we worked with didn't need bigger hosts. They needed honest ones. We relaunched as Unitas Global and split the offering — Unitas Hosting for managed individual products (this site), Unitas Hub for clients who need a complete integrated workspace platform.

We're not a big hosting company but we have the infrastructure that's big enough to host real workloads, support that comes from the people who actually run the servers, and a pricing model designed to stay honest as we grow. That's the entire pitch.

What We Believe

Every infrastructure company can promise reliability and support. The difference is what happens when those promises get tested. These are the principles we hold ourselves to — and the practical commitments that flow from each.

Stewardship

Your data and your domain are not ours to monetise. We're the people you trust to look after them — nothing more, nothing less.

What this means in practice:

  • Your domain is registered in your name at ICANN, not ours
  • Standard data export formats — you can leave any time
  • No data mining, no analytics resold to third parties

Fair pricing

The price you sign up at is the price you renew at. No introductory discounts that triple in year two. No 'unlimited' lies. No per-user tax as you grow.

What this means in practice:

  • Renewal prices match new-customer prices, always
  • Disclosed resource limits, not 'unlimited' claims
  • Flat-fee pricing — no per-request or per-user billing

Doing the work properly

Managed hosting is not a passive subscription. It's monthly work — updates, backups, monitoring, patches. We charge for that work because we actually do it.

What this means in practice:

  • Every backup verified to restore, not just stored
  • Updates tested on staging before applied to live
  • Monitoring with real alerts, not just dashboards

Who we're probably not for.

We'd rather tell you upfront than waste your time. Here are four cases where we're genuinely not the right fit.

Sub-£5/month bargain hosting

Our infrastructure isn't priced to compete with bargain hosts. If price is the only factor, we're not your fit.

Enterprise procurement processes

We don't handle multi-month RFP processes, vendor questionnaires, or formal procurement.

Reseller white-label at scale

We don't currently offer white-label reseller programmes. Custom Agency Plans are available, but not at the scale most resellers need.

Wanting 'unlimited' everything

We disclose resource limits. If you want a host promising unlimited storage, unlimited sites, unlimited everything, we're not that host.
