Setup is real work — 4–8 hours of provisioning, configuration, deployment, and handover depending on tier. Here's what we actually do.
Provision the server
Cloud server, Coolify installed and configured, base security applied. You get a fresh server that's actually ready to use.
Deploy your apps
We install your chosen apps from the catalogue — 2–5 depending on tier. Tested working, on subdomains of your domain, before handover.
Configure DNS
DNS records set up for every app — subdomain.yourdomain.com pointing at the right service. SSL certificates issued via Let's Encrypt.
Wire up SMTP
Apps that need email to get SMTP credentials configured so they can actually send mail. Most providers forget this — we don't.
Verify backups
The first backup is taken, restored, and verified. A backup you can't restore is just disk space. You start knowing recovery works.
Onboarding handover
30-minute call to walk through what you've got — admin URLs, credentials, where to find logs, what to do if something breaks. Recording sent after.

Can I deploy my own app on the server, alongside the catalogue apps?
Yes. The server is yours. We deploy the catalogue apps you picked, and the same Coolify instance can deploy your own Docker-based app. We can help you wire it up during onboarding or you can do it yourself. You're not locked into only running our catalogue.
What happens if my server fills up?
Two options. Upgrade to a bigger tier (we move you, no downtime, you keep your apps) or add a second server (we provision it, you spread your apps across both). No artificial limits, no surprise charges — just a conversation about what makes more sense.
Can these apps talk to each other or share logins?
No — that's deliberate. App Hosting deploys each app standalone with no automation, no shared identity, no cross-app data flow. If you want Applications to talk to each other or a single sign-on across CRM and Inbox, that's Unitas Hub — the integrated platform built on these same apps.
How does this compare to Supabase or Render?
Different model. Supabase and Render scale your costs based on usage — requests, compute hours, bandwidth, edge functions. App Hosting is flat — £50, £100, or £200 per month regardless of how many requests your app handles. Predictable bills. Performance you can size for. Bring-your-own everything.
What if I just want one app, not several?
Starter Server (£50/month) is fine for a single app like Postgres or Vaultwarden. Supabase or Nextcloud alone will fit too, but won't have headroom for anything else. We'll advise on sizing during onboarding.
Where is the server located? Can I have UK-only?
Default server location is within the EU, GDPR-compliant. For most UK SMEs this is fine. If you need UK-only data residency (financial services, healthcare), we can arrange that on Custom plans — talk to us.
