Do I need to host my website with Unitas to use Business Email?

No. Business Email works with any domain, regardless of where your website is hosted. We update the MX records on your domain to point email to our servers — your website stays where it is. That said, hosting both with Unitas means one bill, one team, and one support relationship if anything breaks.

Can I keep my existing email addresses?

Yes. Migration keeps your addresses identical — info@yourdomain.com stays info@yourdomain.com. We update the MX records on your domain so new mail comes to our servers instead of your old provider. Internally everything continues as before.

What email clients work with Unitas Email?

All of them. Standard IMAP/POP3/SMTP works with Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Gmail's 'add account' feature, mobile mail apps, anything that supports standard email protocols. Webmail is included if you want browser access from anywhere.

How does spam filtering work?

All inbound mail passes through SpamAssassin (rule-based filtering) and ClamAV (virus scanning) before it reaches your inbox. Suspected spam goes to a quarantine folder, not blocked outright — you can review and rescue false positives any time. Aggressive spammers are blocked at the connection level via blacklists.

Can I add or remove mailboxes whenever I want?
