Update WordPress core, plugins, themes
Tested on staging where available, then applied to live. We never push an untested update.
Verify backups
We confirm the latest backup actually restores. A backup you can't restore is just disk space.
Scan for malware and vulnerabilities
Weekly on Standard and Premium plans. We use multiple scanners — false negatives kill businesses.
Performance check
Page speed scores, server response times, image weight, render-blocking scripts. Anything slow gets logged.
Uptime and error monitoring
If your site goes down at 3am on a Sunday, we know about it. So do you, if you want to.

Do I need to host my site with Unitas to buy a Care Plan?
Yes. Care Plans are designed to work with Unitas WordPress Hosting — same team, same infrastructure, one bill. If you're currently hosted elsewhere, we'll migrate your site to Unitas at no extra cost as part of onboarding. The migration is included in the Care setup fee. Zero downtime.
What counts as 'support work' in my plan?
Things like fixing a broken plugin update, restoring a backup after a mistake, investigating a security alert, or tuning a slow page. It's hands-on work on your site, billed against your monthly hours. Development of new features is quoted separately.
What if I don't use my support hours in a given month?
They don't roll over — Care Plans are about always being available, not banking time. If you consistently use less, we'll often suggest you downgrade. If you consistently use more, we'll suggest an upgrade or hourly top-ups.
Can you take over an existing WordPress site?
Yes. We do an onboarding audit on every new site — security state, update backlog, plugin health, performance baseline. If you're migrating from another host, the audit happens after the migration is complete. You'll get an initial report within the first week showing what we found and what we recommend.
Do you offer Care for WooCommerce sites?
Yes. WooCommerce sites have specific maintenance needs (PHP version compatibility, payment gateway updates, performance under load) — we account for these in the standard Care Plan workflow. No separate WooCommerce tier needed.
